Hit-and-run driver strikes teen, suspect at large

Police are seeking a vehicle and its driver following a hit-and-run in San Francisco’s Bayview District that left a 13-year-old boy injured over the weekend.

According to police, the collision took place around 8:35 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Revere Avenue.

The boy was crossing the street when the vehicle struck him and continued driving afterward, fleeing the scene, police said. The boy was taken to a hospital for his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.

Police described the suspect vehicle as a sedan, but further details were not immediately available.
