Oakland man, 38, dies after vehicle hits tree

A man who died Thursday night in a car crash in Oakland has been identified by the Alameda County coroner’s bureau as 38-year-old Davis Maravilla of Oakland.

Police said the crash occurred in the 1100 block of Market Street around 10:35 p.m.
