Crews recover dead body from Bay near Pier 39

A body has been recovered by rescue crews near San Francisco’s Pier 39, fire officials said on Tuesday.

The body was located in the water, fire officials said on Twitter at 10:30 a.m.

San Francisco police are investigating the death, according to fire officials.
