Newly appointed San Francisco Public Defender Manohar Raju will be sworn into office by Mayor London Breed on Thursday, according to the Public Defender’s Office.
The swearing-in will take place at noon at the Ella Hill Hutch Community Center gym located at 1050 McAllister St.
Breed chose Raju, formerly a deputy public defender, to succeed Jeff Adachi, who died suddenly in February.
