Victim expected to survive after Richmond District shooting

A 40-year-old man is expected to survive after a shooting in San Francisco’s Richmond District on Tuesday afternoon, police said. The shooting was reported at 3:21 p.m. in the 700 block of 27th Avenue, a couple of blocks north of Golden Gate Park.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening, according to police.

Police said there were three male suspects involved in the shooting. They remain at large and detailed descriptions of them were not immediately available.
