Three men arrested in connection armed robbery

Three Vallejo men were arrested after allegedly robbing a couple at gunpoint in the parking lot of a shopping center in South San Francisco on Sunday evening, according to police.

The robbery was reported at 6:48 p.m. in the 2200 block of Westborough Boulevard, police said.

Neither victim — a 61-year-old man and a 62-year-old woman — was injured as the suspects took an undisclosed amount of cash and property from the couple before fleeing in a 2013 Nissan Altima.

A witness was able to get the license plate of the vehicle, which was spotted a short time later in Daly City. Police there conducted a traffic stop and arrested all three men.

The suspects: 24-year-old Jaymon Matthews, 26-year-old James Brisker and 31-year-old Eric Hamilton, were taken to county jail on suspicion of second-degree robbery and conspiracy. Brisker was also cited for violating his parole.
