A 30-year-old woman is expected to survive after being hit by a large commercial truck in San Francisco on Wednesday morning, police said. The collision was reported at 6:43 a.m. at Second and Bryant streets, just off of Interstate Highway 80.
Police initially said the woman’s injuries were life-threatening, but said Thursday her condition has been upgraded.
The truck driver stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigators, according to police.
