Diesel spill reported at Antioch Marina

A small diesel spill along the waterfront of the Antioch Marina prompted state Department of Fish and Wildlife and U.S. Coast Guard personnel to respond Tuesday.

As of shortly after noon, there were about 10 gallons of fuel in the water in the vicinity of Marina Plaza, but no visibly oiled wildlife had been observed, according to the Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Office of Spill Prevention and Response.

Cleanup was said to be ongoing Tuesday afternoon.
