The pool at 3501 Cowell Road had been closed since December while crews replaced the plaster — last installed in 2004 — as well as tiles and perimeter drain grate. Concrete stairs in the pool were also reconstructed.
The Community Pool, Concord’s only public pool, serves about 124,000 swimmers annually, according to the city.
