Hit-and-run sends woman to hospital, driver still at large

A hit-and-run collision in San Francisco on Monday morning sent a 36-year-old woman to the hospital, according to police.

The woman was struck while walking in the area of Valencia and McCoppin streets just south of Market Street around 10 a.m. Monday, police said. Her injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police have not released a detailed description of the vehicle or its male driver, who remains at large as of Tuesday morning.
