One reported dead in Benicia collision

One person has died in a collision Monday afternoon on Interstate Highway 780 just west of Interstate Highway 680 in Benicia, the California Highway Patrol said.

A motorcycle was one of the involved vehicles, and the CHP received reports that the rider was driving recklessly before the collision. The collision was reported around 1:25 p.m.
