One lane of Point San Pedro Road in San Rafael is now open following a vehicle crash that knocked down a power pole and power lines Tuesday morning, San Rafael police said.
PG&E spokeswoman Deanna Contreras said 3,000 customers lost power around 7:45 a.m. and power was restored to all but 241 customers. Full restoration of power was expected around 11 a.m., but that time could change, Contreras said.
PG&E crews are replacing the power pole at the scene of the crash at Point San Pedro Road and Balboa Avenue.
