Head-on collision in unincorporated Napa leaves one dead, two injured

One person died and two people were taken to a hospital following a head-on collision this afternoon in unincorporated Napa County, a CHP spokesman said.

Officers were called at 3:32 p.m. about the collision on Solano Avenue between Hoffman and Darms lanes just south of Yountville, CHP spokesman Officer Marc Renspurger said.

The two people hospitalized were taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
