Daly City house fire injures one person

One person suffered moderate injuries and at least three residents were displaced in a two-alarm house fire that broke out Monday morning in Daly City, the North County Fire Authority said.

The fire was reported about 8:09 a.m. at a two-story, single-family home in the 200 block of Oliver Street, according to a fire authority news release. Firefighters contained the fire to the front half of the second floor. The home sustained smoke damage throughout the second floor and minor damage to the first floor.

The injured person was taken to the hospital. No firefighters were injured. The Red Cross is assisting one of the displaced residents. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
