Flooding in Sonoma Co. causes road and school closures

Various roads and schools in unincorporated Sonoma County are closed Tuesday morning because of flooding, according to the county’s Department of Transportation and Public Works.

A mudslide has closed Main Street at Vine Street in Monte Rio. The Alexander Valley Unified School District, Geyserville Unified School District, Montgomery Elementary School District in Cazadero and Guerneville School District are closed because of flooding on bus routes, county officials said.
