One dead, another injured in Fairfield car crash

At least one person has died and another has been seriously injured following a solo-vehicle crash in Vacaville on Sunday night, according to police.
The crash was first reported around 7 p.m. near the intersection of Alamo and Tulare drives, police said. Officers arrived to find an overturned vehicle on the sidewalk.
Police didn’t say if the deceased occupant died at the scene or at a hospital. The other occupant was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
Alamo Drive was closed for a few hours and reopened just before 1:20 a.m. Monday.
