Ricky Acosta, 39, was found dead on East Travis Boulevard near Chamberlain Drive around 6:40 a.m. after police received multiple calls about a deceased man. Police determined he had been struck by a vehicle.
Acosta was found lying partially on the sidewalk and the roadway, Officer Ryann Fuentes said.
East Travis Boulevard between North Texas Street and Kidder Avenue was closed until around noon during the investigation.
Acosta was pronounced dead at 6:50 a.m., the Solano County coroner’s office said.
Police are asking the public to call Officer Fuentes at (707) 428-7300 if they have information about the collision.
