About 75 households are affected by a water main break that occurred early Tuesday afternoon in San Francisco’s Glen Park neighborhood, according to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission.
The broken 8-inch main was reported at 12:40 p.m. and residents on Laidley Street between Miguel and Harper streets are affected.
About 4:30 p.m. utility officials decided they had to shut off the water in the area to make repairs.
Crews are working to make those repairs, SFPUC spokeswoman Suzanne Gautier said.
