The station was closed as of 6:22 p.m. and trains are running through the station.
BART officials said protesters are blocking the faregates and it’s become an unsafe situation for passengers.
Parallel bus service is available on Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District bus Nos. 14, 29 and 62.
