A Dublin man has been sentenced to more than 14 years in prison for several armed robberies of San Francisco pharmacies, United States Attorney Alex G. Tse announced Thursday.
Adam Herrick, 36, was sentenced to 171 months in prison after pleading guilty on Aug. 23 to six counts of interference with commerce by robbery and one count of brandishing a firearm during a robbery, prosecutors said.
Herrick admitted to committing six robberies between March 15, 2015 and April 17, 2017.
The robberies occurred at multiple Walgreens and CVS locations and one independent pharmacy.
Prosecutors said Herrick brandished a black semi-automatic pistol in several of the robberies.
In all, Herrick stole approximately $32,360 in prescription drugs during the two-year robbery spree.
Herrick was indicted on March 1.
In addition to the prison sentence, Herrick will serve a five-year period of supervised release, and he was ordered to compensate each victim pharmacy for its monetary losses resulting from the robberies.
