A motorcyclist was hospitalized after police found him pinned under a parked truck in Pacifica Tuesday morning.
Officers arrived to the crash in the area of Rosita Road and Galvez Drive at 10:25 a.m. and found the motorcyclist had suffered major injuries. An emergency room nurse who happened to be passing by at the time was administering first aid to the rider, police said.
North County Fire Authority crews extricated the rider, who was taken to a hospital. The motorcyclist is now stable after undergoing emergency surgery, according to police.
The road was shut down for several hours while police were conducting an investigation into the crash.
