At least one person has died, another has been seriously injured and one more arrested following a two-vehicle collision on eastbound state Highway 4 in unincorporated Contra Costa County on Sunday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the collision was first reported about 9:25 p.m. Sunday on the eastbound freeway just west of Willow Pass Road. At least three of four lanes were blocked until 12:25 a.m. Monday, when all lanes were cleared.
