Smoky air closes Santa Rosa Junior College

Santa Rosa Junior College in Santa Rosa is closed Friday because of the smoke from the Camp Fire in Butte County, college officials said.

All classes and activities are canceled, according to college officials.

The poor air quality has prompted the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to issue a Spare the Air alert for the San Francisco Bay Area for Friday.
