San Francisco firefighters controlled a vegetation fire in Bayview Park Tuesday morning, fire officials said.
The fire department reported the fire just after 8 a.m. It covered about 30 feet by 100 feet of “very rugged terrain” in the 46-acre park, according to the fire department.
Firefighters said the fire was contained less than 30 minutes later. It burned a section of grass, shrubs and other vegetation; no structures burned and no one was injured.
The cause of the fire was accidental, according to the fire department.
