Driver hospitalized after Caltrain strikes vehicle

The driver of a vehicle was taken to a hospital after a train hit the vehicle this evening in Menlo Park, Caltrain officials said.

Southbound train No. 376 struck a vehicle at 6:17 p.m. at the Ravenswood Avenue grade crossing

Trains going north and south were cleared for movement at maximum speeds about 45 minutes later.

Earlier today a Caltrain struck a person in San Francisco south of the 22nd Street station.
