Two people have been arrested as suspects in a shooting last week in San Francisco’s Mission District that killed a 25-year-old San Francisco man, police said Monday.
On Thursday, police arrested 20-year-old Antioch resident Reno Ramos and 27-year-old San Francisco resident Joe Nunezdosangos on suspicion of killing Tony Patton Jr. on Oct. 8.
At about 1:17 a.m. that day, officers responded to 19th and Capp streets where they found Patton on the ground suffering from more than one gunshot wound.
Paramedics tried to save Patton’s life but he died.
Homicide investigators interviewed Ramos and Nunezdosangos and afterward booked them into the county jail on suspicion of murder.
Even though police have made an arrest, anyone with information about the killing is asked to call either the Police Department’s 24-hour tip line at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411 with SFPD at the beginning of the message.
Everyone providing a tip can remain anonymous.
