San Mateo County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a possible homicide after they received a call reporting a dead body in a parking lot at Tunitas Creek Beach Tuesday morning.
Deputies were notified around 7 a.m. that a man was down in the parking lot south of Half Moon Bay. They arrived and found “obvious signs of death,” Detective Rosemerry Blankswade said.
Investigators also found signs of foul play, which led them to believe it is a homicide.
The investigation is still ongoing and the sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information to call (650) 363-4051 or an anonymous tip line at (800) 547-2700.
