Evacuations ordered near San Ramon brush fire

San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District crews are on the scene of a vegetation fire on the western edge of San Ramon south of Crow Canyon Road, a fire dispatcher confirmed.

The department, on social media, said firefighters responded about 3:55 p.m. to a grass fire near the 700 block of Pradera Way. Cal Fire crews are also assisting, and San Ramon police said that the eight homes on Estancia Court closest to the fire have been evacuated.
