At about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, witnesses reported seeing the teens break a car window and steal a backpack from a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Broadway in Millbrae, authorities said.
A detailed description of the suspects and their vehicle was provided and sheriff’s deputies quickly located the car parked in a commercial lot at the intersection of Millbrae Avenue and Rollins Road.
Darrell Everett, 18, Brian Vandercourt, 18 and a 17-year-old companion whose name was not released because he is a juvenile, were taken into custody and will face burglary and conspiracy charges. Vandercourt was also arrested on a previous warrant.
