Caltrain and SamTrans will be operating on a Sunday schedule for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, transit agency officials said.
Train service via Caltrain will not operate south of the Diridon station Monday, although a shuttle bus will be available for passengers between the Tamien and Diridon stations, according to Caltrain.
The last southbound Caltrain of the day from San Francisco will leave at 9:15 p.m.
SamTrans service on Monday will be less frequent than normal weekdays and will not serve any schools or routes that do not usually have service on Sundays.
People planning a trip via the two transit agencies can call the Customer Service Center at (800) 660-4287 or visit www.caltrain.com or www.samtrans.com.
The offices of the San Mateo County Transit District, which oversees Caltrain and SamTrans, will be closed for Labor Day.
