A motorcyclist died in a hit-and-run reported Saturday afternoon in San Francisco’s Potrero Hill neighborhood, police said.
The man, identified by the medical examiner’s office as 33-year-old San Francisco resident Senoris Jinks Jr., was involved in a collision reported at 3:44 p.m. in the area of 23rd and Arkansas streets.
Jinks was taken to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries there, according to police.
The driver of the vehicle that collided with Jinks’ motorcycle fled but was later located and taken into custody, police said. The driver’s name was not immediately released.
