Cal Fire officials said Thursday night that they have stopped forward progress on a vegetation fire burning west of Healdsburg and all evacuations on homes in the surrounding area have been lifted.
The 5- to 10-acre fire was reported at 1:40 p.m. near Westside Road and Madrona Knolls Road in unincorporated Sonoma County. The blaze is currently 75 percent contained at 13 acres, according to Cal Fire.
About a dozen residences were evacuated this afternoon but Cal Fire officials lifted the evacuation order at about 5:30 p.m. and roads were reopened.
