Quadruple shooting in Excelsior kills 19-year-old

Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 19-year-old man and injured three other people in San Francisco’s Excelsior District early Saturday morning.

The shooting occurred around 2:10 a.m. near the corner of Mission Street and Geneva Avenue, police said.

The city’s medical examiner’s office has identified the man who died as Gerson Romero.

The other victims were described by police as two men, 19 and 23, and a 19-year-old woman. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The suspects were described as five men between the ages of 20 and 25, according to police. Further information was not immediately available.
