One dead in Gilroy Hwy. 101 crash

At least one person died in a crash Thursday on northbound U.S. Highway 101 in Gilroy, California Highway Patrol officials said.

The crash was reported at 9:37 p.m. at Leavesley Road.

A Sig-alert was issued just after 10 p.m. and northbound Highway 101 at Leavesley Road will be shut down until about midnight, CHP officials said.
