A knife fight between two men Wednesday evening in The City’s Outer Mission neighborhood resulted in one of the men being hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Around 7:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 900 block of Geneva Avenue, according to police.
An investigation determined that the victim, a 35-year-old man, and the suspect, a 34-year-old man, had gotten into an argument. The argument escalated, however, and both men pulled out knives.
During the fight, the suspect stabbed the victim four times, police said.
Officers were able to detain the suspect, according to police. It was not immediately clear if he was arrested.
