A person has been found dead on the right-hand shoulder of northbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose early Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the person was found deceased around 1 a.m. today on the freeway just north of Story Road and officers are currently investigating the scene. There are no lane closures due to the investigation, the CHP said.
