One dead, driver arrested after Solano Co. crash

At least one person was killed and another arrested on suspicion of felony DUI following a solo-vehicle crash in unincorporated Solano County on Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP said the crash was reported at 10:53 p.m. on Gaddini Road just south of Putah Creek Road near the city of Winters. A Ford Ranger pickup track overturned and ended up 30 feet off the roadway, the CHP said.

A male passenger was extricated from the vehicle and died while being transported to a local hospital, the CHP said. The driver, a female, was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI. The CHP couldn’t confirm if the driver was injured in the crash. Neither of their names has been released.
