Police arrested a juvenile who allegedly carjacked a vehicle in San Bruno and led officers on a pursuit that ended with a crash in San Mateo early Friday morning.
Officers responded at 2:12 a.m. to the area of Santa Lucia and Elm avenues in San Bruno on a report that someone had taken out a weapon and ordered a victim out of their vehicle, police said.

The vehicle then exited the highway onto Poplar Avenue in San Mateo where it struck two parked cars, according to police.
The juvenile driver was arrested at the scene and then taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The juvenile’s name was not released.
