The California Highway Patrol took a person into custody after the individual was seen with their feet dangling off of the Bay Bridge early Thursday afternoon.
The situation was reported around 12:30 p.m. and at least one unit responded to the scene. A Sig-alert was issued, but as of 1:15 p.m. it had already been canceled.
CHP spokesman Officer John Fransen said the situation was resolved peacefully.
Information about the condition of the person detained was not immediately available.
