Marin County Deputy District Attorney Lori Frugoli is leading the race to be the county’s new district attorney with more than half of all precincts reporting.
Frugoli has 48.9 percent of the vote, Anna Pletcher, a former federal attorney, has 29.1 percent and Deputy District Attorney A.J. Brady has 21.6 percent of the vote with 81 of the county’s 147 precincts reporting.
Marin County District Attorney Ed Berberian is retiring from the post. The top two candidates will face off in November if no one receives at least 50 percent of the vote.
