Driver dies in Bayview crash

Police are continuing to investigate a fatal collision that killed a woman Tuesday night in San Francisco’s Bayview neighborhood.

The incident occurred around 9:35 p.m. near the corner of Third Street and Arthur Avenue, police said.

The woman, believed to be in her 20s, was driving when she somehow collided with another vehicle.

The driver of that vehicle, who was uninjured, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, according to Officer Robert Rueca.

At this time, police are not releasing further information about the driver who died, Rueca said.
