Officers were dispatched to the Smart & Final at 460 Diablo Road just before 7:15 p.m. on report of an explosion.
Investigators determined that some sort of device had gone off in a “small explosion,” causing minor damage to the vehicles, but no injuries.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the explosion and identify any suspects or persons of interest in the investigation.
