Two found shot, dead in San Jose foothills

Police are investigating a double homicide in the foothills of east San Jose after a man and woman were found dead, from at least one gunshot wound each, on Wednesday night, according to San Jose police.

According to San Jose police Sgt. Enrique Garcia, officers were called to the scene around 10 p.m. Wednesday after dispatch received a report of someone shot in the 3800 block of Sierra Road. Both of the victims died at the scene. Their identities haven’t been released.

Garcia said there are currently no suspects in the 9th and 10th homicides of 2018 for the city. Anyone with information is asked to call San Jose police detectives Sgt. Mike Montonye or Officer Elizabeth Ramirez at (408) 277-5283. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call (408) 947-7867.
