Arrest in Berkeley laptop robbery
A person was arrested Tuesday night following a robbery near the University of California at Berkeley, university police said Wednesday.

At about 9:34 p.m. Tuesday, a suspect got out of a vehicle near Bancroft Way and Fulton Street and punched the victim in her face before taking her laptop.
Police said the suspect got back into the vehicle and drove away.
A university police officer made a traffic stop on a vehicle matching the description of the one involved the robbery.
Police said they arrested the driver of the vehicle for their connection to the robbery.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Berkeley police at (510) 981-5900.
