Sunnyvale pedestrian dies after Friday collision
An 84-year-old woman has died from injuries she suffered in a collision with a vehicle Friday afternoon in Sunnyvale, public safety officials said Tuesday.

Officers responded at 3:30 p.m. to 1165 W. El Camino Real on a report of the collision.
A vehicle struck Peiqiu Zhangon and her husband as they were walking east on the north sidewalk of westbound El Camino Real.
Public safety officials said Zhangon was taken to a trauma center and later died.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
