Daycare workers at Early Discoveries Child Development Center discovered the fire while children were playing outside, according to fire officials.
All of the 15 children and seven adults moved to a nearby parking lot and reported the emergency at 4:38 p.m.
Firefighters responded and saw heavy smoke and a fire visible inside the building. There was also heavy fire involvement in the attic.
The fire was under control about an hour later, according to fire officials.
All of the children were picked up by their parents as of 7 p.m., fire officials said. There were no injuries reported.
