Livermore police took a suspect into custody after a home invasion robbery and standoff Tuesday afternoon.
Police said the suspect was hiding inside a home in the area of Wagoner Drive and Coronado Way and asked people to avoid the area at about 12:30 p.m.
A SWAT team and K-9 entered the home at 3:35 p.m. when negotiations and “chemical agents” did not coax the suspect out of the residence, according to police.
Police said SWAT team officers then detained the suspect without any injuries. Officers have not released any suspect information at this time.
