Oakland shooting leaves 1 dead, 1 wounded

A man died from a gunshot wound to the chest early Sunday morning in Oakland and another man was wounded in the 3400 block of Fruitvale, according to police.

The shooting happened around 1:12 a.m., police said. One of the men was shot in the chest and the other man was shot in the calf, according to police. Both men were taken to the hospital, police said.
