One dead after Daly City highway crash

At least one person died in a crash late Tuesday night in Daly City, officials with the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash was reported at 10:56 p.m. on the transition road from northbound state Highway 35 to northbound state Highway 1, CHP Officer Damian Cistaro said.

The transition road will be closed until about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
