A tree located next to an apartment complex caught on fire on Sunday night, Oakland police said.

A tree located next to an apartment complex caught on fire on Sunday night, Oakland police said.
According to police, an officer on patrol noticed the blaze on the tree, which contacts an apartment building, in the 8700 block of International Blvd.

That officer and others who arrived on scene evacuated the apartment complex before the Oakland Fire Department contained the blaze to the tree.
There were no reports of any injuries or residents that were displaced due to the fire.
